Kal Penn is an actor who guest-starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the episode "Outsider" as Henry Chanoor.
Penn's best known TV role was Dr. Lawrence Kutner on House, M.D. (with Peter Jacobson and Robert Sean Leonard). He also starred as Seth Wright on Designated Survivor (with Zoe McLellan). His best known film role has been the Harold & Kumar series of movies (with Neil Patrick Harris, Paula Garcés, David Krumholtz, Eddie Kaye Thomas, and Christopher Meloni). He also starred in the films National Lampoon's Van Wilder (with Daniel Cosgrove) and its spin-off sequel Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj (with Lauren Cohan), The Namesake (with Zuleikha Robinson) and Superman Returns (with Sam Huntington and Jack Larson).
