Mary Kathleen Turner (born June 19, 1954 in Springfield, Missouri) is an American actress who played Rebecca Shane in the Law & Order season 16 episode "Magnet".

Turner is best known for her roles as Joan Wilder in Romancing The Stone and it's sequel, Jewel of the Nile, Peggy Sue Bodell in Peggy Sue Got Married, Victoria 'V. I.' Warshawski in V.I. Warshawski (with Jay O. Sanders), and Barbara Rose in The War of The Roses. She also starred as the title character in Serial Mom, featuring Sam Waterston, Matthew Lillard, Patricia Dunnock, and John Waters.

Turner later had roles in The Virgin Suicides (with A.J. Cook), Baby Geniuses, Beautiful, and Marley & Me. On TV she guest-starred on the NBC sitcom Friends as Chandler Bing's drag queen father Charles Bing, in the third season of Showtime's Californication as Sue Collini, the jaded, sex-crazed owner of a talent agency, and on the Netflix dramedy series The Kominsky Method as Michael Douglas' character's ex-wife Roz Volander. Turner's voice roles include Jessica Rabbit in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (with Christopher Lloyd), Monster House, and guesting on the television series The Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill and Rick and Morty.

Turner married real estate entrepreneur Jay Weiss in 1984, and they had one daughter, singer Rachel Ann Weiss, who was born on October 14, 1987. Turner and Weiss divorced in December 2007, but Turner remains friendly with Weiss citing "He's still my best friend".
