Keith David Williams is an American actor who played Bronx DA John Robertson in the Law & Order Season 11 episode "Bronx Cheer". He also appeared in two episodes of New York Undercover.
David is a Julliard-trained film, stage, and television actor. His film credits include Platoon, The Thing, Dead Presidents, Crash, Armageddon, Pitch Black and its sequel The Chronicles of Riddick, There's Something About Mary, and Nope. On television, he starred as Bishop James Greenleaf in the OWN drama Greenleaf (with Lamman Rucker) and Elroy Patashnik in the sixth season of the NBC sitcom Community (with Paget Brewster). He guest-starred as Judge Alvin Guy in the FX series Justified: City Primeval (with Aunjanue Ellis, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Marin Ireland, Victor Williams, Norbert Leo Butz, Paul Calderon, Regina Taylor, Dominic Fumusa, and David Cross).
David also has an extensive career as a voice-over artist. Characters he has given his voice to include Goliath in the Disney animated series Gargoyles (with Ed Asner, Rocky Carroll, Rachel Ticotin, Clancy Brown, CCH Pounder, and Brigitte Bako), Al Simmons/Spawn in the HBO series Todd McFarlane's Spawn (a role he later reprised in the Mortal Kombat 11 video game), and Dr. Facilier in Disney's The Princess and the Frog (with Terrence Howard and Anika Noni Rose). He won Emmy Awards in 2005, 2008, and 2016 for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance and Outstanding Narration. He also served as Narrator for the second season of the TV show Love Life (succeeding Lesley Manville in the role and starring William Jackson Harper). He also provided the voice of Mr. Rager in Entergalatic (with Timothée Chalamet, Christopher Abbott, Montego Glover, and Washington Kirk) and will provide the role of Commander Zavala in Destiny 2 (a role previously played by Lance Reddick).
