Kevin Smith is an actor who cameoed as Tony's Wife's Nephew in the Law & Order episode "Black, White and Blue".
Smith is probably best known for playing the character of Silent Bob in the View Askewniverse films, a set of films he also wrote, edited, and directed. Films set in the View Askewniverse include Clerks, Dogma (with Matt Damon), and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. He also directed the films Jersey Girl (starring Raquel Castro), Zack and Miri Make a Porno (starring Elizabeth Banks), and the 2014 film Tusk (starring Genesis Rodriguez).
Smith had a cameo role as forensics assistant Jack Kirby in Daredevil (with Jennifer Garner, Ellen Pompeo, Leland Orser, Erick Avari, and David Keith).
Smith talked about being a Law & Order fan and how he called his agent to get him a role where he would be "the guy that leads them to the guy that leads them to the guy who leads him to the suspect" in his DVD special An Evening with Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder.
