Kirk Acevedo is an actor who is known for playing DA Investigator Hector Salazar in Law & Order: Trial by Jury. He also played Salazar in the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Night", Eddie Garcia in the SVU episode "October Surprise", and Detective Ray Lopez in the SVU episodes "American Dream" and "Sanctuary".
In addition, he appeared as Richie Morales in the Law & Order episode "Corruption", as well as three episodes of New York Undercover as different characters.
Acevedo is also known for his portrayal of Miguel Alvarez in the HBO series Oz (with Ernie Hudson, Terry Kinney, Harold Perrineau, Rita Moreno, J.K. Simmons, Lee Tergesen, and Dean Winters), and FBI agent Charlie Francis in the Fox series Fringe (with Lance Reddick). He also starred as Ricardo Diaz on the show Arrow (with Rick Gonzalez).
Acevedo is married to Kiersten Warren, the mother of actress Misti Traya, who also appeared as Denise Pikering in the SVU episode "Pretend".
