The fifteenth season of the legal drama series Law & Order premiered on NBC on September 22, 2004 and concluded on May 18, 2005. The season consists of 24 episodes.
This season aired alongside with season 6 of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, season 4 of Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Season 1 of Law & Order: Trial by Jury.
Cast[]
This is the first season to feature Dennis Farina as Joe Fontana (replacing Jerry Orbach as Lennie Briscoe, who moved to Law & Order: Trial by Jury for two episodes before his death on December 28, 2004). Jesse L. Martin, who played Ed Green, goes to temporary leave from the series after the episode "Tombstone", and interim actor Michael Imperioli as Nick Falco joins the regular cast in the episode "Publish and Perish". Elisabeth Röhm as Serena Southerlyn departs from the series after the episode "Ain't No Love", although Annie Parisse as Alexandra Borgia joins the semi regular, staring with "Fluency".
