Lakeisha Watkins is the girlfriend of informant Damon Merced, under the employment of Sunny Qadri, a detective investigator for the district attorney's office. When Qadri hired Merced to kill Ferguson under the pretense of missing drug money, which Qadri actually stole, Merced kidnapped her in her own vehicle while Watkins cut her as part of a torture interrogation. Ferguson was a self-harmer, so she resisted well, this Merced threw her off a building into her car to kill her. Qadri arrived the moment she was murdered to give herself an alibi.
Qadri then went to Angel Rivera, an imprisoned gangster who first had the drug money, and swore she'd swing the case in his favor if he had Watkins and Merced killed. He agreed, with his girlfriend Gina arranging the hit, leading to Merced and Watkins being shot dead by an auto weapon in their apartment. When Qadri was found out, she was arrested, and Rivera faced more charges. Gina was released due to being pregnant and needing to care for her unborn child. (SVU: "Dirty")
