Q: Why am I not allowed to remove talk page messages?

A: Users are not allowed to remove talk page messages of any kind to ensure better transparency. Some administrators do not have all day to search through a talk page's entire edit history to search for any relevant prior warnings or discussions involving the users they are investigating, especially those warnings or discussions that may have occurred a long time ago. By banning the removal of talk page messages, administrators can have an easier time following any user talk page.

Q: Why are some articles restricted to a certain maximum number of user edits per day?

A: Due to recent edit conflicts and content disagreements on certain articles, a policy restricting the maximum number of daily edits by users has been implemented on any articles that are clearly sources of persistent user strife, such as all of the Ripped from the headlines articles. All users are expected to abide by these rules, even if they are new to this wiki or uninvolved in any disagreements related to the affected articles.

Q: How will I know which articles are restricted to a certain maximum number of user edits per day, and which ones aren't?

A: Administrators will notify users of the restrictions on their talk pages as soon as they make their first edits on the affected articles. As with all other talk page messages, they are forbidden from deleting the notifications as soon as they are received.
