Law and Order

Lena Hess is the CEO of Tectonic, who held several high-end sex parties in order to blackmail multiple wealthy men.

History[]

After one of her parties led to the rape of a guest, Lena was questioned by Tutuola and Benson, where Benson showed hostility towards Lena. Lena becomes aware of the search warrant and denies knowing anything about the parties. Lena requests to get a copy of security footage which Benson denies. Benson threatens Lena with handcuffs if she finds out that she is involved with the parties. Lena first came under suspicion after the squad arrested Ethan Schmidt, the assailant of Maggie D'Angelo, after catching him assaulting Maggie on tape.

Schmidt told Rollins and Carisi that Lena held the parties that women ended up getting assaulted at. Lena's office was searched for the recording of Schmidt assaulting Maggie. However, Benson questions Lena while they search her office. Lena tells Benson that they won't find anything, but Benson tells her that they know she throws those sex parties. Lena confesses to Benson claiming that men are the root of all evil in the world which is why she records them to have collateral on them. Benson tells Lena about her son who is kind and thoughtful, but Lena mentions that Benson doesn't seem to have a ring on her finger.

Lena tells Benson that she just lights the match and men watch it burn. Benson tells Lena that all she cares about is her portfolio before arresting her for her involvement with the sex parties. However, Benson gets called to Lena's shelf in her office where they find several tapes containing recordings of many sexual assaults. Benson informs the squad that her hard drives has enough incriminating evidence to take down half of the most powerful men in the city. At arraignment, Lena gets released but is required to wear an ankle bracelet pending trial. Lena doesn't seem to look too worried, but Carisi wonders what she may have on the judge presiding the arraignment. Lena managed to slip her ankle bracelet off, before running to the airport. Lena then left behind a matchbook with her phone number in it too which Benson called when they discovered she was missing. Lena tells Benson to use her footage to take those men down before hanging up the phone. When Tutuola approaches Benson, Benson tells him that it was the wrong number. (SVU: "Controlled Burn")
