Lili Denkova is the host of smuggled, pregnant Bulgarian Sofia Zarov and the accomplice of trafficking mobster Anton Petrov. She was housing Zarov while she was waiting to give birth and Petrov was planning to illegally sell her baby and kill Zarov.
When Zarov was raped by Donovan Black and the operation was compromised, Petrov and his mob sieged Denkova's hideout and made Zarov watch Denkova be shot in her head six times by Petrov, threatening Zarov with her own life if harm was done to her baby.
Thanks to shadow counsel efforts when the defense was supporting the mob's corruption, Denkova's corpse was found under a buried coffin. Petrov was imprisoned for life when Zarov, after an attempted bombing meant to kill her, appeared alive and well ready to testify, especially after her family was brought to America to get asylum with her, so Petrov wouldn't get them killed.
