Lily Cosgrove is the daughter of Detective Frank Cosgrove.
History[]
Lily was dining at a cafe with Frank discussing her fears about school shootings and the world, expressing a desire to be home schooled. Ava Marchenko ran past them fleeing from Mark Sirenko. Frank told Lily to stay where she was and not to leave. When Frank came back to see Lily, he saw she was gone and panicked. He soon found Lily looking at the crime scene where Ava had been murdered with a crowd of people. When Frank reminded her that he had told her to stay where she was, a distraught Lily told Frank that she thought he had been shot and wanted to see that he was okay. (OC: "Gimme Shelter")
Following the closure of Ava's case, Frank assured Lily that Sirenko was facing 20 years in prison for his actions and that 20 years is a long time but Lily wasn't convinced, stating that she felt justice wasn't served for Ava or any of Sirenko's victims. Frank confided in Lily by saying he agreed with her despite telling the media he felt justice was served but told her not to worry about the dangerous people in the world and to live life as best as she could without any fears.
