Linus Roache is a British actor who is known for his portrayal of Executive Assistant District Attorney Michael Cutter in Law & Order. His character took over Jack McCoy's (Sam Waterston) post, because he was promoted to District Attorney. Roache first appeared in the Season 18 episode "Called Home".

He is the son of Coronation Street actor, William Roache, who holds a Guinness World Record for Longest serving actor in a Soap Opera for his 55 years with Coronation Street as Ken Barlow. Between 1973 and 1975 Linus appeared sporadically as Ken's son Peter. In 2010 Linus again appeared in Coronation Street as Lawrence Cunningham, another of Ken's sons with Linus's younger half-brother, James Roache, playing the role Lawrence's own son James.
