After Shannon was found murdered, Faber was devastated before she questioned by the SVU detectives of when Shannon was murdered. Faber had no useful information to provide regarding her murder, but Lisa was revealed to be in a sexual relationship with her music instructor, Steve Abruzzo.
Abruzzo and Faber were caught having sex at Abruzzo's house, leading to his arrest. Faber voiced how it was consensual and they were in love, though Benson told her that he was manipulating her and the DA's office would convict Abruzzo. (SVU: "Families")
