Law and Order

Lisa Rose is the goddaughter of Cressida Gordon, who was raped by Jackson Wright.

History[]

Lisa was walked home by Detective Joe Velasco when they met on a dating app and Lisa had several drinks that night. When he tried to help her by the time she got to the door, she recoiled screaming when he touched her arm, falling down the stairs and being knocked unconscious. Velasco immediately called for an ambulance.

When Lisa wakes up, she reports she was raped by Jackson Wright, having been matched with him by his own dating app. Lisa accounted how Wright got violent and was only enjoying it when she fought him, texting "Sorry if it got weird for you." when she blew Wright off. She tried to tell Cressida, Wright's business partner and Lisa's superior along with Cressida, but when there was a business celebration, Lisa wasn't motivated enough.

Cressida was later informed and, despite being in shock and even in disbelief at first, quit and denounced Wright in a public speech as a predator. Lisa was livid and screamed at Cressida for her actions, which devastated her that she almost killed herself with oxycodone. When Wright was arrested and taken to trial, Lisa gave her honest account, saying she wasn't allied with Cressida and wanted the world safe from Wright, but Wright's defense still tried to destroy her account, with her date with Velasco and calling her a "drunk". Lisa testified and said she couldn't defend herself with ease due to Wright's publicity as an entrepreneur.

Cressida delivered a shock when it was revealed she was raped by Wright after his wife and her college friend died on a car accident. Cressida never told because Wright apologized and she hoped he could've changed, Cressida personally apologizing to Lisa from the stand. In the end, Carisi's goading of Wright into a misogynistic tirade at the trial secured a conviction. (SVU: "Sorry If It Got Weird For You")
