Logan Carter is a serial rapist who sexually assaulted many of the women he worked with during his job as a pilot.

History

Behind his shining reputation and good name, Carter was a serial rapist who targeted his female coworkers. Whenever he would work with them again or see them after the assaults, he would taunt them, triggering them and making them frightened and uncomfortable. He raped one of his victims, a Muslim-Indian woman, named Tara Sidnana, while they were staying in a hotel for work. Tara made a complaint, but the airline company said she wouldn't have to work with him again and to keep quiet.

Eventually, Tara is assigned to the same flight as Carter after six months of not working with him. He taunts Tara, and then briefly leaves the cockpit. Terrified and uncomfortable, Tara attempts to make a landing at John F. Kennedy Airport, but the nature of her actions causes the passengers to believe she was about to commit a terrorist attack. Carter and some of the other passengers get Tara out of the cockpit. Then, Logan takes control of the plane, leading everyone to believe Tara is a terrorist and Logan is a hero. Tara tells the Special Victims Unit that she was raped by Logan and they open an investigation. Logan is arrested by the SVU for sexual assault while he was about to attend an interview with The Today Show. The detectives eventually discover that a woman left the airline Tara and Logan worked for. They visit her at her new job and she tells them that Logan did rape her, subsequently getting him imprisoned. (SVU: "Flight Risk")
