Lorna Talcott is the mother of Dwight Talcott and the aunt of Jonah Dekker. A loving family woman and proud black woman, she was kidnapped with Dwight when he was a boy by Grant Harrison and his accomplices in the Ku Klux Klan, beating and gang-raping her repeatedly, as worse as two rapists at a time, while Dwight was forced to watch at gunpoint. They were thrown out of the vehicle they were held hostage in and, despite reporting, none of the attackers were ever charged.
Dwight wanted revenge decades later by trying to rape Catherine Harrison, but he changed his mind out of remorse from not wanting to commit the evil Grant did, relented for the sake of Dwight's family, conscience, and sympathy. Catherine filed a report saying he did rape her and even accused her roommate Isabelle's brother Kevin Wright before accusing Dwight.
With Grant playing racist and trying to spread harassment at every black person in the vicinity of the case, Dwight's prosecution was difficult to handle due to the tampering and troubling details. Lorna insisted her son tell the truth, and he did: he didn't rape Catherine, because she didn't deserve it and he had no place to. She confessed to the lie and was arrested, while Dwight was arrested for burglary, both of them taking pleas for their sentencing. (SVU: "Reparations")
