Lorraine Delmas is an old family friend of Martin Trenway who was the first woman Trenway raped.
Biography[]
Lorraine grew up with Trenway's mother as lifelong friends. They fell in love two brothers and moved the U.S., Trenway's mother marrying and having him and Lorriane being engaged. Lorraine promised to care for Trenway once his mother died. But one night, Trenway raped Lorraine in her home under threat with a kitchen knife while she was beaten and forced to pull down her pants. She lost her fiancé as a result and buried the clothes she wore in a box she hid in her basement ceiling. After she swore to kept silent, Trenway became a serial rapist over the years, targeting women in a few different states.
Lorraine attended his trial for the rape of Nikki West, leading her to be questioned when she was witnessed. When Dani Beck spoke of her husband's murder, she encouraged Lorraine to testify and reveal the evidence needed to prove Trenway was guilty of rape before, leading to Trenway's plea deal involving naming all the other women Trenway raped. Nikki personally thanked Lorraine, who affectionately told her she deserves to live her life before she herself thanked Beck for her inspiring compassion. (SVU: "Recall")
