Lorraine Toussaint is an actress who played Shambala Green in Law & Order.
Toussaint is known for playing assistant Medical Examiner Elaine Duchamps on the television drama Crossing Jordan (with Jill Hennessy, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, Miguel Ferrer, and Ken Howard). She also starred in the Lifetime TV show Any Day Now (with Annie Potts). In 2007, she began a recurring stint on Ugly Betty, (withJudith Light).
