Louisa Catherine D'Angelo is the assailant and murderer of her husband Bruno. Louisa decided to get revenge on Bruno for his rampant infidelity by castrating his penis and throwing it out the window of her apartment. When Detectives Logan and Briscoe responded to the emergency call, Louisa struck Logan with a frying pan and screamed at both detectives to just leave Bruno emasculated; she was promptly arrested.
She vehemently defended herself until Bruno's condition got worse. He died from the stress and blood loss from the castration, sending him into cardiac arrest, which led her to grieve after Bruno's death. Her defense attorney did her best to argue domestic abuse, but Louisa pleaded guilty out of remorse. She was found guilty of aggravated assault, manslaughter, and assault of a policeman and was imprisoned. (L&O: "Mayhem")
