Lukas Peeters is a serial rapist who targeted transgender women and eventually murdered Aida McDaniels.

History[]

After another victim was attacked, Cora told Tutuola and Muncy that Peeters fell down the fire escape. Muncy managed to find Peeters hidden underneath a bodega. Muncy then chased after Peeters where he attempted to attack her. Muncy then beat up Peeters in self-defense before arresting him and taking him into custody. Before Peeters could be taken away by the ambulance, Benson asked Tutuola to check Peeters' eyes since Cora used bear mace on him after she was attacked. Tutuola then uses a light to see if there were marks on Peeters eyes which there were. Peeters then denies attacking Cora or murdering Aidan. During interrogation, Lukas claimed that the sex with Cora was consensual before Mack arrives and starts giving the detectives orders. Mack insisted that they missed something and asked them to start their investigation from scratch.

Rollins then testifies against Peeters where Attorney Elaine Samuels objects to Rollins being asked if Peeters attacked Cora because she was transgender. Rollins explains that people don't get what it means to be transgender and claims that Peeters was targeting transgender people. A few moments later, Cora testifies against Peeters where Samuels tries to claim that Cora liked it rough and didn't stop to say no. After Benson discovers that Mack stole Aida's clothes from the crime scene, Mack testified against Peeters where he confessed to stealing the clothes. Mack claimed that he messed up the crime scene because he didn't want his fellow cops to see Aida wearing clothes for females. After Mack's testimony, Lukas was indicted by the jury and managed to get his end of the deal. (SVU: "A Better Person")
