Lynn Hauser is the mother of infant Jawan Hauser.
History[]
Lynn had a mother who was a drug addict for years, so when she gave birth to Jawan, she dedicated herself to working to support her family. She eventually started living in an apartment in one of her neighborhood's brownstones. When Jawan suffocated and brought him to the hospital, he was revealed to have succumbed to a cocaine overdose. She feared of being suspected out of racial and class bias, defending herself with her past that made her turn to a better life. It was revealed the cocaine was actually disguised as baby formula she stole from her cleaning service employers, Derek Pfeiffer and his wife Laura, who also took care of a baby in their house and whom she stole from because she briefly couldn't afford it when she slipped the canister.
She was devastated by Jawan eventually dying from the overdose despite the hospital's efforts to save him. Jawan's poisoning and death revealed a drug trafficking ring the Pfeiffers were involved in, the baby actually being Tommy Draper, their nephew and the child of Laura's sister, Denise. They would travel to Mexico posing as "tourists" and "businessmen" to smuggle the drugs in the canisters. The Pfeiffers and Denise were killed by operation leader Keith Gerard and his mercenaries, Gerard being successfully apprehended and executed for the crimes. (SVU: "Risk")
