Quotes[]
- Tutuola: Liv, nobody expects you to be Wonder Woman.
- Benson: I do.
- Tutuola: Yeah, well, and I used to think I was Superman.
- Benson: So what happened?
- Tutuola: Life. Time. I mean, what you gonna do?
- Stone: What kind of a world is this, Olivia?
- Benson: I guess there has to be a hell so we can recognize heaven.
- Stone: Suffer the little children to come unto me. See, that always baffled me. If children have to be suffered to approach God, what kind of a world has He created? If they have to suffer to be close to Him, what sort of a heaven does He reside in?
- Benson: Peter, if you ever want or need to talk about Pam, I'm here.
- Stone: She's dead. What's to say?
- Sam Conway: It's no big deal, okay? Everyone's making it out to be something that it's not. It's just sex. Everyone does it.
- Stone: Not with their father, they don't.
Background Information and Notes[]
- Al Pollack makes his first on-screen appearance. Rollins had mentioned she had dated the guy and that they had broken up when she found out he had been seeing sex workers on the side in the episode "Service".
- Speaking in general, non-technical terms, John Conway is guilty of raping his son. However in terms of criminal charges what he did technically does not constitute rape in the first degree, as rape is charged in cases of sexual intercourse where there is an issue of consent or outright forcible compulsion.
The exact criminal charge John Conway would face is criminal sexual act in the first degree, which is a class B felony just like rape in the first degree. Criminal sexual act is charged whenever there is oral or anal sexual conduct between two people and there is an issue of consent or outright forcible compulsion.
