Manfredi Sinatra was a mob boss and the deceased father of organized criminal Richard Wheatley.
History[]
Richard had a tense relationship with his father and hated him being a racist to the point of Sinatra hating Richard's two Black wives, Angela and Pilar. As a retort at the elder Sinatra, Richard adopted and kept Angela's name to not live with the bigotry in his father's name.
Sinatra was suspected of orchestrating the death of Kathy Stabler by the Organized Crime Control Bureau. He, however, realized Richard may have been involved and was going to discuss what he knew with Kathy's husband, Detective Elliot Stabler. Richard, however, intercepts the meeting and the two had a tense final meeting with his father at the Wonder Wheel at Coney Island before Richard killed him and left his body to be found by Stabler. In spite of this, Richard threw a party with his friends and mourned his father during the event. (OC: "What Happens in Puglia", "Not Your Father's Organized Crime")
In spite of his bigotry, his grandson, Richard Wheatley, Jr., still loved him and was devastated when his father was charged with Sinatra's death. From prison, he arranged to have the Marcy Killers try to kill the senior Richard for revenge, but this attempt was foiled by Stabler and Sergeant Ayanna Bell in Chinatown.
