Margot Kidder was an actress who portrayed Grace Mayberry on the Season 2 episode "Pique" of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
She was probably best known for her role as Lois Lane in the Superman movie franchise (with Ned Beatty in the first two films, Annette O'Toole and Robert Vaughn in the the third, and Mariel Hemingway in the fourth) as well as her role as Kathy Lutz in the 1979 movie The Amityville Horror (with James Brolin). Kidder was also starred in the animated series The New Adventures of Captain Planet as Gaia (a role originally played by Whoopi Goldberg in Captain Planet and the Planeteers).
She was married briefly to actor John Heard, who also guest-starred on SVU as well as other shows in the Law & Order franchise.
