Marjorie Durban is the ex-wife of city councilman Richard Durban. After their divorce and years of struggling to accept him as a gay man, she became one of his greatest supporters in his personal life. She and her family even risked harassment, as her son was once insulted with a homophobic slur over the phone when he was 11.
She was devastated when Richard was shot dead, and the resulting trial of his opponent, Councilman Kevin Crossley, became enough a farce that Crossley was acquitted. (L&O: “Pride”)
