Marty Vance is the widower of missing and murdered woman Lauren Vance. He was arrested once her remains were found, but eventually released once it was revealed his business partner, Jay Carlin, killed Lauren, and that Dawn Talley, the reporter covering the case, was his accomplice.
Carlin and Talley were arrested, and Marty was absolved of murder charges, but as he participated in Carlin’s dog-fighting ring, it’s unknown what penalties he faced for that. (L&O: “Submission”)
