Marvin Exley is a high-priced defense attorney who worked with Delia Wilson.
History[]
Exley arrived to the precinct to represent Iris Peterson but Peterson refuses to take the fall for the death of the former governor and agrees to cooperate with the detectives. This ultimately leads to the arrest of Delia.
After Delia is released on bail it is revealed that Exley put up his townhome to pay it. Exley gives vague threats to Detectives Amaro and Benson about their relationships. (SVU: "Rhodium Nights")
Later, Delia fired Exley when he misunderstood their relationship and represented herself in her case. (SVU: "Above Suspicion")
In spite of his involvement in Delia's criminal activities, Exley is shown to still be working as a defense attorney, representing a celebrity who stole Amaro's squad car after striking another car while drunk. (SVU: "Producer's Backend")
