Mary Catherine McCormack is an actress who portrayed U.S. Federal Marshall Mary Shannon in the crime series In Plain Sight (with Fred Weller, Paul Ben-Victor, Todd Williams, and Ali Marsh), which crossed over into the Law & Order: Criminal Intent episode "Contract". She also guest-starred as Rickie the Bartender in the Law & Order episode "Doubles".
She's notable for other roles such as Murder One (with Michael Hayden and J.C. MacKenzie), The West Wing, The Kids Are Alright (with Christopher Paul Richards), and Heels (with Chris Bauer).
McCormack married director and producer Michael Morris in July 2003. Together they have three daughters, Margaret Morris born in 2004, Rose Morris born in 2007, and Lillian Morris born in 2011.
McCormack and Morris are executive producers of the game show 25 Words or Less, hosted by Meredith Vieira. McCormack is also a frequent celebrity panelist on the show, as are fellow executive producers Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky.
