Matthew Brant, Jr. was a student from Hastings, New York, as well as a member of the militia group known as the New Sons of Liberty. Fellow members included his father Matthew Brant, Sr., and his uncle Phil Christie. Brant, Jr. was eventually tried separately from the other New Sons after her mother Kay agreed to testify against them in court. (L&O: "Nullification")
