Maura Tierney is an actress who stars on Law & Order as Lieutenant Jessica Brady in the twenty-fourth season. Prior to this, she guest-starred on Law & Order in the second season episode "Aria" as Patricia Blaine.

Tierney played Nurse Abby Lockhart on ER (with Anthony Edwards, Julianna Margulies, Eriq La Salle, Gloria Reuben, Mariska Hargitay, Paul McCrane, Yvonne Zima, Hallee Hirsh, Alex Kingston, Scott Grimes, Michael Michele, Erik Palladino, John Stamos, and Ming-Na Wen), a character that began as a guest appearance as an OB nurse, then expanded in 2000 to a full-time regular part as an ER nurse.
