Melidna Whitman (alias Sugar) is a prostitute, the girlfriend of Tito Cabassa, and originally presumed to be an accomplice in the rape and murder of Anna-Marie Liscomb. Although Tito raped and sodomized Anne-Marie, Whitman was jealous of her and killed her in a rage.
