Michelle Hurd is an American actress known for playing Detective Monique Jeffries during the first and second season of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Hurd reportedly left SVU due to her relationship with Richard Belzer, which was reportedly complicated as they were prone to arguments and disagreements.

Hurd is married to Garret Dillahunt, an actor who appeared in two Law & Order episodes.

Alongside SVU, Hurd is known for her roles of Ellen "Shepherd" Briggs in Blindspot and Colleen Manus in The Glades. She also is known for her recurring roles as A.D.A. Reynolds in New York Undercover and Renee Grover in Hawaii Five-0.
