Mikael Abramov is a career criminal who was involved in a gold smuggling ring.
History[]
The Organized Crime Control Bureau teamed up with Agent Tia Leonetti who was investigating Abramov for international crimes. While Abramov was under investigation, he met with his colleague at a warehouse where he burned him alive with hot gold. At Stabler's home, Leonetti tells Stabler that she was investigating Abramov and had a witness to his crimes before Abramov murdered that man's wife and children.
Reyes then goes undercover to meet with Abramov and manages to gather information from him. Reyes tries to do business with Abramov but ends up pushing too hard. When Reyes comes across a waitress who seemed to be abused by Abramov, Leonetti tells Reyes to question the girl because they could work with her to take down Abramov. Reyes then stops the waitress named Joy and tries to convince her to turn against Abramov.
After getting a warrant to arrest Abramov, Leonetti and Stabler find out that Abramov is heading to the airport. Before Abramov could flee the country, Stabler and the team get into a shootout with Abramov's bodyguards before Stabler arrests Abramov on the plane and takes him into custody.
