Miranda Shea is the contractor of her husband Larry Shea’s murder, committed by Karen Nix due to Miranda’s manipulation. Miranda wanted Larry dead for the inheritance and had affairs with both men and women, including Karen, who she met at a rehab facility. She wanted her personal trainer and lover, Tom McGrath, to commit the murder for her, but he refused.
She denied everything and painted Karen as an unstable stalker, until her son Will testified that he once saw Miranda in bed with Karen. Miranda was convicted and imprisoned. (L&O: “Obsession”)
