Miriam Gregg is the drug-addicted nurse and assistant of gynecologist and serial sexual assailant Alex Merritt. Merritt bribed her by feeding her addictions to Percodan in exchange for abetting in and covering for sexual abuse of the women seen by Merritt as patients.
Gregg provided the sedative used on Elizabeth Olivet when she was raped, perjuring herself on the stand to slut-shame her and get Merritt and acquittal by the judge, even though the jury found Merritt guilty. She was isolated by the District Attorneys office in confrontation over her part, taking a plea to testify in the rape of Olivet's patient, Diane Perkins by Merritt.
Merritt's bragging on live television lead to 54 women coming forward to accuse Merritt and imprisonment for life. Gregg was found guilty of conspiracy and perjury and imprisoned as well for her crimes (L&O: "Helpless")
