Summary[]

- The mirror effect is a psychological impact resulting from an intensive stare at one's own reflection, which is meant to increase self-awareness but has the danger to lead to self-destructive and otherwise destructive consequences.
- Beatrice Mallow made her acting debut as Billie Rollins. This is also the first time the audience has seen Billie speak on the show.
- This is the second time Dana Wheeler-Nicholson has portrayed the immature mother of a female celebrity on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Wheeler-Nicholson previously portrayed Donna Evans, the mother of troubled actress Tensley Evans in the sixteenth season episode "Producer's Backend".
