Background information and notes[]

  • Jack McCoy's relationship history with his assistants is brought up. He mentions marrying one, who is not named here, but named Ellen in another episode. The others are not mentioned, namely Diana Hawthorne, Sally Bell, or Claire Kincaid, whom he was known to have been in relationships with. Since Claire though, he was never shown to be in a relationship with any other assistants.
  • Goof: The episode scene card days and dates match up to 2001, not 2002.
