Moses Dolan is an Aaron Burr High student who was being tutored by Cesar Ramirez, a student at charter school Sunrise Academy, to have Moses enrolled there for his hopes at a more involved education. Moses’ older brother Abel couldn’t stand Moses’ chances at his future he felt could’ve pulled Moses from his family.
Abel led three other boys in beating and burning Cesar to death in retaliation, before the other three boys gang-raped Cesar’s love interest, Jolie Henderson. Convinced by the principal of Aaron Burr, Ms. Woodside, Abel confessed to the crimes and gave the other boys up, Moses, devastate as he was, receiving a tip reward that would go to his enrollment at Sunrise.
