After Stabler got suspended for attacking Lucas after he shot Bell, Warren questioned Bashir, Bell and Reyes about Stabler's actions on that night. (OC: "Missing Persons")
Stabler attended a meeting with Warren, where Warren started questioning him about his father, Joseph, which Stabler became frustrated about. (OC: "Beyond The Sea")
After Bell became suspicious about Warren's investigation into Stabler, Cragen met with Bell to tell her that Warren blames Stabler for the death of his mentor, Gus Hanson. (OC: "Original Sin")
Cragen met with Stabler and informed him that Warren blames him for Hanson's suicide before they both get held hostage in the diner. Bell then meets with Warren where she stands up for Stabler. Warren then cleared Stabler of any wrongdoing and he was recruited back to the task force. (OC: "Sins Of Our Fathers")
