Michael T. "Mykelti" Williamson is an American actor who portrays Preston Webb on Law & Order: Organized Crime.
He is well known for his roles as Benjamin Buford "Bubba" Blue in the film Forrest Gump (with Siobhan Fallon) and Gabriel Maxson (a role originated by Frankie Faison on Broadway in 1987) in the 2010 Broadway revival and 2016 film adaptation of Fences (both with Viola Davis and Russell Hornsby and on Broadway with Chris Chalk). He also starred in the films Free Willy and Free Willy 2 (with Jayne Atkinson) and The Final Destination (with Bobby Campo). Williamson had recurring roles on the TV shows Chicago P.D. (with Jason Beghe, Sophia Bush, Jesse Lee Soffer, Marina Squerciati, Jon Seda, Brian Geraghty, Stella Maeve, and Barbara Eve Harris) as Lieutenant Denny Woods, Justified (with Jacob Pitts, Raymond J. Barry, Joelle Carter, Erica N. Tazel, Natalie Zea, Michael Rapaport, and Mary Steenburgen) and 24 (with James Morrison, Jude Ciccolella, Glenn Morshower, Roger Cross, Reiko Aylesworth, Bob Gunton, and Jayne Atkinson).
