Neil Patrick Harris (born on June 15, 1973 in Albuquerque, New Mexico) is an actor who guest-starred on Law & Order: Criminal Intent in the episode "Want" as John Tagman.

Harris is best known for his roles as the teenage doctor Doogie Howser, M.D. (with Lawrence Pressman), the womanizing Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother (with Josh Radnor and an uncredited Bob Saget), the very intelligent Colonel Carl Jenkins in Starship Troopers (featuring Clancy Brown, Seth Gilliam, and Rue McClanahan), Dr. Horrible of the web series Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, and as himself in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle and its sequels Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay and A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas (with Kal Penn, David Krumholtz, Eddie Kaye Thomas, and Christopher Meloni).
