Nestor Buchanan is the subordinate of pedophile and bookshop keeper Gregory Searle, Searle working under alias "Julian Cooper". Nestor was set up to be framed for the kidnapping, rape, and murder of Rachel McGarrett, with a computer trace to him when she was stalked through her avatar on Another Youniverse.
Searle was revealed to be the real kidnapper and murderer, using Nestor's computer and leaving evidence from Searle's belongings in Nestor's possession. Searle was tracked and arrested, but it was too late to save Rachel. (SVU: "Avatar")
