Nick Claussen is a real estate agent and the ex-husband of Lorraine Cobin. Claussen was divorced by Lorraine because she only wanted his money for a comfy lifestyle, which she saw was threatened from a dip in the market. Lorraine had her daughter Melissa lie that Claussen sexually abused her to gain more in a settlement.
When Lorraine had her second husband, Alan Cobin, killed, Claussen was tracked and gave his account of what happened. Lorraine was eventually convicted when Melissa turned on her to get a confession. (L&O: “For Love or Money”)
