History[]
Nina was investigated by the Manhattan North Homicide Squad for the murder of her fiancé and COO, Kyle Morrison. When the cops search Nina's residence, they find traces of blood splattered on a coat. The squad then started to realize that Nina framed their previous suspect for his murder by filing a false police report. Nina was arrested but she posted bail and Kyle's father, Brian, approaches Nolan Price and Samantha Maroun telling them that Nina is evil.
Nina makes a statement to the press and made it sound like she was being persecuted for being an ambitious woman. When Nina testifies, Nina claims that Kyle harassed her a few weeks before his death. She also made an allegation of repeated sexual assault against him and she was afraid that he was going to murder her so as a result she shot and killed him. Nina was found guilty of his murder by the jury. (L&O: "Impossible Dream")
