Nina Wilshere is an interior designer who uses her business for drug smuggling under the front of her art dealing. She’s killed by mercenaries in the cartel she works for, the Vela Cartel, because she appeared in a song by a promotional band, Los Vagabondos for a rival cartel, the Roman family.
Nina’s mother was in disbelief of her daughter’s crimes, and the band was soon after shot up at one of their concerts as added relation. The killers were taken to trial, but the case grew weaker from witnesses being murdered and otherwise tampered with. (L&O: “Boy Gone Astray”)
