Octavio Pisano is an actor who stars on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Organized Crime as Detective Joe Velasco, replacing Jamie Gray Hyder. He started in a recurring role at the start of the twenty-third season before joining the main cast in the episode "They'd Already Disappeared". He is the youngest main character on the series, the second being Jamie Gray Hyder and the third being Michaela McManus.
