Owen Cassidy is a white-collar playboy and drug dealer and the original suspect in the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Emily Keefe.
History[]
Cassidy was previously a Wall Street man, until his cocaine deals were ousted and got him kicked out of the business world. He didn't care and continued to deal, throwing parties and sailing to his content, finding his time in finances as a temporary entertainment for himself.
He was met at his yacht to be questioned, throwing his joint into the sea. When he realized Stabler and Fin were cops, he swung his mast at them and try to get away by jumping into his inflatable lifeboat. When he pulled a gun, Stabler shot a hole in the boat and threatened to kill him if he ran. Uncut coke was found, and Cassidy only copped to the drugs, but he said he broke up with Cassidy after a week due to her seasickness, and assuming she had another man.
