Pang Ghiangji (alias Screaming Butcher) is a retired Chinese general and a fugitive from prosecution over being a chief commander of the Tiananmen Square Massacre. Pang commanded the armies to slaughter protestors in a democratic demonstration, before defecting from the country into New York.

Coming across Stuart Gaston, Pang negotiated deal with him to sell some of his artifacts from his homeland, which Gaston ran a specialized illegal enterprise for. However, refugee and survivor Annie Littleton, who married and ambassador for status for her and her family, recognized Pang at a market and shouted his nickname before he ran off. This made him a prime suspect when Annie was shot dead in broad daylight not long after, right in front of her children.

Annie's work regarding Chinese historical and cultural curating led to Gaston, whose illegal business she had been tracking and ready to report. Gaston eventually led the detectives to Pang, one of his partners who was fighting with him over a particular artifact. Pang was arrested and admitted his identity in interrogation. It was revealed he never killed Annie, and instead one of Gaston's customers contracted her murder to have sole possession the artifact.

Pang was extradited, tried for war crimes, and imprisoned for life. (CI: "Chinoiserie")
