Persephone Free James is the girlfriend and fellow terrorist of Mitchell Hissam, both of them members of the Earth Defenders Group, an eco-terrorist mob. Both were under the instruction of chapter leader Andy Dell and were being tracked by Haley Kerns, who was an informant for the FBI.
After Hissam nearly killed law enforcement from crystallized dynamite in the refigerator in the couple's log cabin, both of them were arrested and imprisoned on terrorst and assault on law enforcement charges. Detective Benson breached the operation to stop a bombing Haley was brainwashed into carrying out, leading to Agent Dana Lewis to kill her to stop it. Benson then took over Haley's role under James identity to dismantle the rest of the terrorists. (SVU: "Informed")
