Law and Order

Phil DeSapio is a tour guide who assisted Ariel Randolph in editing footage for her podcast and music blog about her time in New York City and its recreational and nightlife scenes.

History[]

She crossed him during her "adventure" and he wanted to help her out because she was from Edmonton, Canada, and wanted to provide a welcoming experience for her being a familiar local of the metropolis. He also knew how to score her tickets and backstage access for her favorite music festivals and musicians, which she planned to write all about or her blog.

Ariel was overwhelmed and frazzled from the nightclub scene when she had passes made at her, especially since she had a husband and sons to return to back at home. Phil saw her on the street and picked her up for her safety. He took her to a diner for a sandwich, but it took a turn for the worse when he also harassed her in an attempt to kiss her. She pushed back and fought him. As she fled and scratched his arms, he was preventing her from going into the park at night for her own safety from being out alone at night in the city.

His fears were confirmed when she was found floating in a rowboat after being raped and beaten into a coma, at the hands of homeless sex offender Slick. Phil was tracked through her phone records and stated his role in her latest addition to her travel and hobby logs. He was distraught and remorseful enough he arrived at the hospital and brought her flowers to be placed in her hospital room, which the detectives did because only her family was allowed back.

When he was found out as being the one who saved her from the club, Phil was taken to the precinct and confessed his own actions. he admitted he tried to stop her from getting attacked in the park, then asked for a lawyer because he was screwed no matter what. It's unknown what legal penalties, if any, Phil faced. (SVU: "Brief Interlude")
